  3. 3. If we go forward: I build it. We agree on a flat price up front. No retainer, no surprises.
  4. 4. Idle cost: $0. Everything sits on free tiers. You pay nothing month-to-month until you outgrow them.

The honest version

I'm not a professional designer. I've worked in tech for 20 years — engineering management, product, infrastructure — but my front-end JavaScript habit gets help from AI tools.

What that means in practice: I'm fast, I'm cheap, and I know what I don't know. I won't sell you what you don't need. I won't lock you into anything proprietary.
